Eagan, MN August 29, 2018 – TimeSolv, a leading provider of web-based software for legal billing and timekeeping, released an update featuring the ability for law firms to sync Trust transactions over to QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop with journal entries.
QuickBooks is a staple for small businesses with millions of users utilizing the software for their accounting and billing needs. TimeSolv recognizes QuickBooks has plenty of valuable accounting tools, so a sync tools was built several years ago to seamlessly integrate with QuickBooks, allowing law firms to benefit from its accounting tools, while utilizing TimeSolv’s efficient time tracking and billing systems.
The TimeSolv integration sync has evolved over time and this latest update means all Trust transactions can be recorded in QuickBooks through this sync. The process means that, for example, when users allocate money to an invoice or create a disbursement in TimeSolv, their money has essentially been moved; with this new QB Sync capability between trust and operating, TimeSolv will create corresponding journal entries through the QB sync tool into QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
TimeSolv’s Customer Service Manager Ron Reinart explains the benefits of this new feature: “TimeSolv now has the ability to easily sync trust deposits, payments, and transfers into QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop with journal entries. Trust transactions no longer have to be manually maintained in two systems, any transactions created in TimeSolv can be included in the sync process currently being used. This will be able to save time and reduce potential errors compared to manually entering information into two systems.”
